Scrum Artefacts

Tools and devices to do good Scrum

Scrum recognizes 3 artefacts: the Product Backlog, the Sprint Backlog and the Product Increment. The other artefacts are: Product Goal, Sprint Goal, Definition of Done and Scrum Board.

  1. Product Backlog lists all required work (with business value or not)

  2. Sprint Backlog lists the work for the current Sprint

  3. Product Increment aggregates all work made during sprint

  4. Product Goal describes a future state of the product and serves as the target for the Scrum Team

  5. Sprint Goal is the vision of the Sprint Product Increment

  6. The Definition of Done (DoD) lists all work to get a releasable Increment

  7. Scrum Board makes work visible by showing in which state is each task: to do, doing, testing, done.
