Document to build an overview of the project 

The project canvas is a document that offers an overview of the project, no need to go into details.

The fields in this form are:

• objectives (what are the project’s objectives? align with the organisation goals)
• scope (what must be done? list deliverables and all the supporting work)
• clients (who are they? internal or external users?)
• outcome (what are the benefits derived from the deliverables)
• stakeholders (list the key stakeholders)
• constraints (time and cost limits)
• risks (list the key risks, events that can hurt the project)
• quality requirements (think of the expectations and standards to follow)
• necessary resources (knowledge and material)
• team (who should be involved to perform the project work?)
• timeline and milestones (what will be done and when, list dates for the releases)
